Our Services

Our services are offered at four sites, East Reservoir, Northcote, Panch Health Service and Preston. Most services are available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm however a limited number do provide extended hours. A written referral is not necessary but information from other health and welfare provided you see will assist us in supporting you.
Whilst we provide services to people from the whole Darebin community, a number of groups have been identified for priority of access. These include
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers
Children under 12 years old and their families
People that are socioeconomically disadvantaged
People with high clinical needs
A number of services have limited eligibility due to government policy
A waiting period may apply to some services. You can enquire about the waiting time when you contact the Service.
As part of the government policy, a number of our services charge a fee. This will be explained to you when making an appointment. Payment plans and/or waiving of fees may be available for clients experience financial difficulties.
Access to services is by appointment. The Client Access and Referral Workers can talk to you about your needs and help with to access our services. They spend time talking to you about your needs and will provide you with information, and arrange for you to come to your appointments at DCH. They can also provide you with information on other support services.
If interpreters are needed advise the Receptionist when booking an appointment. We encourage the use of accredited interpreters rather than family or friends to ensure quality in communication and informed consent.
