The Podiatry Service offers a range of therapies that include:
• General footcare (treatment of toenails and removal of corns and callous)
• Padding and strapping (this helps to reduce pressure from painful areas)
• Custom made insoles
• Surgery for ingrown toenails
• Wound management
• Annual Diabetes Foot Check-ups
• Home Visit Service (strictly housebound clients only)
• Foot check-ups for babies, children and teenagers

Eligibility Criteria: Any Darebin resident can access service if accessed as an emergency, eg. Wound infection. General podiatry service open to Pensioners and Health Care Card Holders with a foot pathology and/ or underlying medical condition, eg. Diabetes.
Fees: Fees are set as per as per DCH Fees Policy. $8 per consultation for health care or concession card holders
Referral: Clients can self refer, and referrals are accepted from the client, the family / carer, the client’s doctor, other health professionals, and health and welfare agencies.
How to Make an Appointment: Referrals can be made by phone, letter or fax. All referrals are received and processed by Client Access & Referral Service. Details are ph: 8470 1111 or Fax: 84701107

Interpreters: A professional interpreter can be arranged to assist with ensuring complete understanding of both the client’s needs and the options available to meet these needs.
Location of Service: Podiatry services operate from the East Reservoir and Northcote site, PANCH Health Service and the Reservoir Civic Centre.
Hours Of Operation: Generally Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm.
