There are many ways you can get involved with both the planning and delivery of programs at DCH. These include:

The Board of Governance is responsible for monitoring the performance and management at Darebin Community Health (DCH). Contact the CEO on 8470 1111.
Register to become a member of DCH
Membership is free and open to
all members of the community above 18 years of age, and,
a client of the service, or,
live, work or study in the City of Darebin, or
a volunteer or carer.
Membership of Darebin Community Health entitles you to vote in Board elections and attend Annual General Meetings as a voting member. As well you will be regularly informed about the activities of the Service, receiving 2 Community Newsletters each year, the Annual Quality & Care Report and advance notice of any special events the Service is holding

Take part in Client Satisfaction Surveys
On completion of a course of care, clients are encouraged to complete our Client Satisfaction Survey about the service they have received. The information gathered is used in service planning and delivery.
Become a Volunteer
We have a range of positions available if you are interested in volunteer work at Darebin Community Health; these include the following:
Administration
Driving
Food Co-operative
Mens Shed
Planned Activity Groups (PAG)
Project work
Self Support Group Leadership

This event is advertised in the local paper, flyers, our website and reception areas of all sites. All DCH members are sent an invitation.
Take part in Service Reviews and Consultations
Consumers are regularly invited to take part in DCHs Service Reviews and strategic planning consultations throughout the year
Tell us your thoughts and suggestions
We invite your thoughts and suggestions for improvements to the Service through the feedback and complaints process. The best way to do this is by completing an Opportunity for Improvement form which can be returned by post or by dropping it off to any of our sites.
